เป็นเบลนด์ที่มีคาเฟอีนแต่มาจากใบเยอร์บามาเต ซึ่งเป็นพืชพื้นถิ่นแถบอเมริกาใต้ในตระกูลฮอลลี่ ว่ากันว่า Lionel Messi และนักบอลอเมริกาใต้คนอื่น ๆ ดื่มประจำเวลาซ้อม แต่มันไม่ได้เป็นชาที่มีแค่นักบอลที่ชื่นชอบเป็นพิเศษเท่านั้น มันเป็นวัฒนธรรมในการกินดื่มส่วนหนึ่งเลยก็ว่าได้

เยอร์บามาเตเป็นวัตถุดิบของเครื่องดื่มที่ให้ความตื่นตัวไม่แพ้ใบชาหรือกาแฟ รสชาติและผลของคาเฟอีนออกไปทางชามากกว่ากาแฟ นั้นก็คือ ให้ความตื่นตัวแต่ไม่ตื่นเต้น

มีรสชาติที่เบา ไม่ขม เข้ากันได้กับรสชาติของเปลือกส้มเป็นอย่างดี จะดื่มเปล่า ๆ หรือจะดื่มกับขนมรสชาติเบา ๆ หรือเค้กเนยก็ยังได้

A caffeinated blend made from yerba mate, a South American plant from the holly family. You might know it as what Lionel Messi and other South American footballers drink during training—but it’s not just a footballer’s drink. It’s actually part of South American drinking culture.

Yerba mate provides alertness comparable to tea or coffee, but the taste and caffeine effects lean more toward tea than coffee. It energizes without making you jittery.

The flavor is light and non-bitter, pairing beautifully with orange peel. You can drink it plain or with light pastries and butter cakes.

Works perfectly hot or iced.

INSIDE THE IDEA

เรารู้จัก Yerba Mate มานานแล้ว แต่หลัง ๆ เริ่มสนใจเนื่องจากได้รู้มาว่าเป็นเครื่องดื่มที่นักบอลสายอเมริกาใต้ใช้ดื่มกันระหว่างฝึกซ้อม เลยอยากนำเสนอเป็นเบลนด์ที่ 11 ซึ่งชื่อ veronica นั้นแปลว่า victory หรือชัยชนะ ก็ได้ไอเดียมาจากการแข่งขันบอลนั่นเอง

ทีนี้ ก็มาต่อยอดไอเดียว่า ชัยชนะมีรสชาติที่หอมหวาน ถ้านำถ้วยรางวัลถูกนำไปใส่น้ำดื่ม ก็น่าจะเป็นน้ำดื่มที่มีรสชาติหอมหวานเช่นกัน การที่เราได้ดื่มชาที่เป็นตัวแทนชัยชนะก็นับว่า วันนั้นเราก็ได้ชัยชนะในการที่ทำให้ตัวเองได้มีความสุขที่มีเวลาดื่มด่ำกับชาเช่นกัน

ความหอมหวานนี้ เรานึกไปถึงชาเปลือกส้มในวัฒนธรรมจีน จึงได้นำมาทดลองและพบว่า การพบกันครั้งนี้ของสองทวีป เป็นการพบกันที่ลงตัวอย่างน่าประหลาดใจ

We’ve known about Yerba Mate for quite some time, but recently became interested after learning it’s what South American footballers drink during training. This inspired us to create our 11th blend. The name ‘Veronica’ means ‘victory’—directly inspired by football games.

We developed this concept further: victory has a sweet, aromatic taste. If you could fill a trophy with drinking water, it would surely taste sweet and fragrant too. When we drink tea that represents victory, we achieve our own small victory—the joy of taking time to savor tea.

This sweetness reminded us of orange peel tea from Chinese culture. We experimented with combining them and discovered something remarkable—this meeting of two continents created a surprisingly perfect harmony.
